Hope you all are enjoying your weekend. Had a fun night last night at Verizon Center watching the Caps beat Tampa Bay. Congratulations to Troy Brouwer on his hat trick last night - always make the game a little special to be at. On to card marking...
When I had my table at Kettler Ice Rink in November, a friend of mine purchased some cards. When she got home, her brother-in-law Mike was visiting & asked her if I could make some cards for him. Basic, masculine cards with an M on them. At that time, I had no alphabet stamps - thankfully my friend did. So I borrowed a few from her and promptly got sidetracked with Christmas & New Years. Last weekend I came up with a few designs and dropped them off at her house. Mike picked out a card from the samples I had dropped off. And there was my first order for 15 cards w/envelopes. I used whisper white & chocolate chip card stock, chocolat chip ink & (retired) designer paper. I finished them up tonight and realized I needed to put them in something other than a bag. So I used my simply scored tool from Stampin' Up! and had a container for them in a flash.
Now if we could just do something about my photography skills or lack of them! I can't hold the camera still, so I apologize for the blur :) If you would like to order stationary or any other cards, let me know. I would love to make them for you or teach you how to create them yourself!
Enjoy your weekend,
Melissa
